Take an interpretive walk to look at weeds through a different lens.

Have you ever noticed a plant on the side of the road and thought, "What is that?" Do you want to get to know your leafy neighbors a little better? Join local naturalist Clayton Paul to explore the qualities and gifts of our local plant life, through an Indigenous lens!

The Fernie Museum presents this guided nature walk as part of their programming for Into the Weeds, a multi-media art show by Liza Gareau Tosh, currently on display in the upstairs gallery.

Duration: Approx 1 hour on gentle forest trails
Location: The walk will depart from St Margaret's Road (Cemetery Gates) at 1pm.
Tickets: Free! All welcome. Donations to the Fernie Museum appreciated.
Information: Please get in touch with the Fernie Museum at [email protected], 250-423-7016 with any questions.

Please come prepared for changing weather conditions - sunscreen, sunglasses, rain jacket, umbrella, bug spray & water are recommended.
