Fernie Trails Alliance is bringing back one of Fernie's most beloved biking and running events, the Tears & Gears Mountain Duathlon!
The event will be the same inclusive, community focused event with competitors participating as teams or solo - Run / Bike. And the popular kids’ race will be back as well.

ABOUT TEARS & GEARS:
Tears and Gears ran for ten years, hosted by Abi Moore from Stag Leap Running Co, and Krista Turcasso from Claris Media; the last event was in 2019. It was inspired by the friends' love of trail running and mountain biking and creating a community focused and inclusive event that would encourage people of all levels and ages to try these sports and enjoy our amazing trail network.
