Be sure to purchase your Griz Pin as soon as you arrive in Fernie - or risk being thrown in Griz Jail and have to pay a fine to be released! Griz Pins go on sale on February 5th and are widely available at retailers and venues around Fernie. Each pin has a unique number; on March 6th there will be a draw and the winner will receive $1000!
The annual Griz Days Festival is traditionally Fernie's biggest event, encompassing the entire community from Fernie Alpine Resort to the Provincial Park to the Highway and Historic Downtown Fernie. It is a full, wild weekend of activities and live entertainment for all ages.

The Fernie Chamber of Commerce acknowledges that its office and Griz Days events take place on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of The Traditional Territory of the Ktunaxa Nation including the ?akisq?nuk, Yaq?it?a·knuq?i?it, ?aq?am, and Yaqan Nu?kiy.
