Bow River Guiding Company offer gentle trail rides located just 15 minutes from Fernie from the Fagan Ranch located in Morrissey. One or two hour rides are available, with longer rides and BBQ rides also offered on request. The Ranch can easily be reached by regular vehicles.
Minimum age for all riders is 14, with some horseback riding experience preferred but not required. Younger children may be accepted if they have horseback riding experience and are a suitable size and fitness level for the horses and trails.
Local, experienced guides will host the tours and share knowledge about the Valley, trails, and the whole horse experience which starts with meeting the horses and preparing them for riding.
Bow River Guiding Company also offers a variety of eco tourism activities on remote backcountry terrain on tenured Crown land in the Flathead River region, SE BC. Overnight horseback adventures and Indigenous cultural exchanges can be arranged on request. The location is approx. 2.5 hours drive from Fernie.
