Partners behind the #Ferniestoke Shuttle
The shuttle program is funded by tourism dollars and is a partnership between Tourism Fernie, the City of Fernie, Fernie Alpine Resort, and the Fernie Chamber of Commerce. Additional funding is generated by ticket sales and advertisers on the buses. The service will be operated by Tunnel49 for 2023/24 season. Funding for the purchase of three new buses in November 2022 was through tourism grant funding from the Provincial Resort Municipality Initiative.
Special Complimentary Ticket Program
Overnight guests staying less than 27 nights at local accommodations (that are members of Tourism Fernie) can ride for free with a special ticket from their hotel front desk or reservations team. Funding to support this tourism initiative was thanks to Tourism Fernie from dollars generated by overnight visitors. This is a limited program for specific locations - ask your accommodator for information. Limited seating available, group cannot be accommodated. For more information email [email protected]
