About Marilyn

Marilyn Brock was born and raised in the lower mainland of British Columbia. She brings with her a 25-year background in accounting, management and consulting along with some years in the legal field and as a software consultant. After coming for a holiday and falling in love with Fernie, Marilyn along with her husband and two sons relocated to Fernie in 2001. They soon found an older home on a beautiful lot and began work on an extensive renovation. Marilyn also assisted the Fernie Chamber of Commerce and various local businesses with their accounting and bookkeeping needs.

In 2003 Marilyn opened the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Fernie’s historic downtown with her husband; four months later they added a second location at Fernie Alpine Resort.  That year they received the 1st annual Fernie Entrepreneurs of the Year Award. Marilyn’s years of business experience along with her personal approach and dedication to her clients has made her one of Fernie's top selling Real Estate agents.
