This year is the 4th Annual Project 9 Race. A race which consists of 3 races in one; Up, Down and Combined, is known as one of the most grueling in town. Specialize for one or go for all three.

Held every year on the 9th day of the 9th month with a race start of 19:09,

Entry Fee is $9.99 (exact change appreciated) and bikers meet in the Island Lake Parking lot for registration at 18:00. Awards, drinks and snacks at The Pub after the race.

Tears and Gears

One mountain town, two mountain girls, with a mutual love for trails, races, sweat & exhilaration. Thus was born Fernie's First Annual Mountain Duathlon, encompassing all that and then some. Tears & Gears for example.

This first annual mountain duathlon is hitting Fernie this summer, designed to test the abilities, determination and strength of participants, while also celebrating the amazing terrain and trails available in Fernie. Not to mention adding to the already impressive array of biking and running events held in this town August through October.

Fernie Half Marathon
