Winter Escapes: X country skiing, snowshoeing, spa & lunch.

Explore the wonders of the mystical Island Lake Lodge under snow cover. The day starts with a Snowcat ride up our mountain road arriving at a winter wonderland which includes 4 back country lodges, snow covered peaks, miles of groomed trails a cozy restaurant and full service spa.

Our Winter Escapes program includes the opportunity to join a knowledgeable guide for either a snowshoe or cross country adventure around Island Lake, a picturesque alpine lake and through our Old Growth Forest. Nestled in an amphitheatre of mountain scenery this is truly a special place to spend a day.

Head back to the Tamarack Lodge where a gourmet lunch awaits you in the Ancient Timbers Dining Room with views of The Lizard Range and our incredible cat skiing terrain. Then head down to The Spa at Island Lake and indulge in one of our many treatments, derived from ancient healing traditions. All our treatments are created to promote inner and outer wellness that both men and women will enjoy. Replenish your health, restore your spirit, and reawaken the senses.

The day ends with a relaxing Snowcat ride back down to the valley.
