Fernie Fly Fishing

Best Dry Fly Fishing

Fly Fishing

Set against the jaw-dropping peaks of the Canadian Rockies, Fernie’s pristine waters, classic freestone rivers and clear lakes make it one of the most stunning and productive dry fly destinations in the world.

Native westslope cutthroat and monster bull trout can be found cruising around the many stream confluences, deep pools, and hidden channels of the Elk, Bull and Wigwam Rivers as well as numerous others.

And when the light in the sky dwindles and the rods are broken down, the charming town of Fernie will play host with beautifully appointed accommodations and sumptuous dining alternatives.
