Fernie Snowmobile Trail Maps & Grooming Reports

The Fernie Snowmobile Association manages all the trails for snowmobiling in the area. Main trails are groomed regularly and a day-use fee is in effect. Visitors can also pay $80 annually for a membership which allows you access all winter long. Please contact the Association for information on trails, grooming, access, membership and events.

Fernie Snowmobile Association was formed March 1st. 1990 and is a British Columbia Snowmobile Association (BCSF) member club. When you join our club you automatically become a BCSF member.

The Fernie Snowmobile Association(FSA) has in place agreements with B.C. Forestry and Tembec for using access roads in the Hartley Lake, Coal Creek, and Morrissey areas. These agreements allow the FSA to charge for access into these areas. The moneys generated provide trail grooming, (when money and conditions permit, it is usually done once a week) trail signage enhancement and cabin improvements. The Fernie Snowmobile Association maintains two warm up cabins in the local area. They are located in the Morrissey (Minnesota Flats) riding area as well as the Ram Creek riding area.
