Fernie Alpine Resort sits above the legendary town of Fernie, BC – An historical mining community with an unforgettable and hospitable personality. Fernie Alpine Resort is blessed with an annual snowfall of between 900-1,200cm, attracting skiers and riders from around the globe. Fernie Alpine Resort has it all, with 142 runs and 2,504 acres of terrain spread over 5 spectacular open bowls, ridges and glades, there is endless adventure on this mountain. Serviced by 10 lifts, this varied terrain creates a true mountain playground that appeals to skiers & riders of all ages and abilities. Fernie attracts outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world and has quickly escalated into one of the most popular mountain destinations in North America.
Fernie’s base area village continues to develop & expand, and has an excellent variety of quality on-mountain properties to choose from. Soak in your own private hot tub, enjoy a BBQ on the balcony of your family condo or relax by the fire! Additional accommodation options are also available right in downtown Fernie (5kms away), which is serviced between the resort & town by a regularly scheduled shuttle bus. On-mountain facilities include a variety of restaurants to enjoy & experience be it fine dining, casual, Italian, Japanese or your morning coffee & muffin!

As an additional benefit to your ski holiday, your multi-day lift pass (3+days) is also valid for use at nearby Kimberley Alpine Resort (www.skikimberley.com). Kimberley is renowned for it’s wide-open, groomed, fall line terrain and is located 1.5hr west of Fernie in the beautiful Purcell Mountain Range. Fernie Alpine Resort is conveniently accessible by air through the Cranbrook Airport or through the Calgary International Airport.
